Trial Regulations
taken from the TCV committee meeting 18.09.2003
"The TCV advises that it has become necessary to initiate the following procedures for future tracking trial being held by the club.
1. Requests received from competitors regarding preference e.g. for a particular day or that
they wish to be catalogued on the same day as another competitor will be scrutinized upon
receipt of entry.
2. A maximum involvement of two (2) dogs per handler per day will be catalogued at TCV
Trials unless a less than anticipated entry is received. This will make the running of the trial
smoother for judges, Trial Secretary and competitors.
3. TCV members are reminded that we are very fortunate to be allowed to use wonderful
properties to pursue our hobby of tracking, but members must remember at all times that
these properties are peoples homes and we must always respect the land and its owners.
4. The TCV can only continue to hold trials where it is unnecessary to conduct a ballot for,
if the events have a suitable number of guaranteed helpers available that are confirmed
prior to the close of entries. Otherwise a ballot will be conducted when required."
